When you are growing up, you are always anxious to get away from your hometown, travel and see the world…

It’s not until you do that you realize how special the place you couldn’t wait to get away from actually is.

I’m home from the Delta for a few days of rest & relaxation in the Great Lakes State.  As I walked around my neighborhood this evening, taking pictures of all of the sights I used to take for granted, I started to feel like a child again.  Who knew Michigan summers were this beautiful?

M is for Mississippi

I don’t live in DC anymore.  Heck, I don’t even live in Eastern Standard Time anymore.  Boys and girls, I now live in the great state of Mississippi.  More on this later.  

I will be making some big changes to this page soon.  In the meantime, take comfort in the picture below.  This are only a small slice of the wonderful things that Mississippi has to offer.
